Technia was founded in 1994 by Staffan Hanstorp, Jonas Gejer and Johan Petrini. Since December 2004, Technia has been a part of the Addnode Group (listed at the Nasdaq OMX Nordic List, Small Cap).
In July 2015, Transcat PLM was acquired by Addnode Group, and is now merged with Technia under the new name TechniaTranscat. The new name reflects the united and leading European CAD and PLM actor that we are building together.
TechniaTranscat, with more than 420 employees, has business in the whole Europe, India and North Americas. The main offices are located in Stockholm, Sweden, and Karlsruhe in Germany.
